44 Days To Go!

What should I wear?

The dress code is cocktail attire. For men, a dress shirt with slacks is perfect, and you’re welcome to add a suit jacket if you’d like. For women, cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or elegant skirts are great options, and long dresses are absolutely welcome if you prefer! We kindly ask that women avoid wearing white or beige, as these colors are traditionally reserved for the bride. We want everyone to look polished but still feel comfortable enough to dance and have fun.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive at least 15–20 minutes early to ensure you’re seated before the ceremony begins.

Is there parking available?

There is plenty of parking available at both venues. At the ceremony venue, there is paid parking available right outside ($3.25 per hour). For the reception, parking is free of charge at the venue.

Will there be assigned seats at the wedding ceremony?

No, seating will be first come, first serve. The only reserved seats will be for parents, grandparents, and siblings. Thank you for understanding!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Guests are welcome to take photos during the ceremony, but we kindly ask that you remain seated and avoid moving around to take pictures. Help us capture our moments and tag us at #tangledwithlui!

Are there food and drinks?

A full Chinese-style dinner will be served at the reception, along with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. However, there will be no food served at the ceremony.

Are pets or outside food allowed?

No, pets and outside food are not permitted at the ceremony and reception locations.

Are washrooms available at the ceremony venue?

There is a single washroom available outside the ceremony venue for guests to use. If you plan on changing attire for the reception, we kindly ask that you arrange to do so at a separate location.

When will photos be taken at the ceremony?

We kindly request that no photos be taken before the ceremony, other than those of the couple. All family and group photos will be taken after the ceremony. This helps ensure that the ceremony proceeds smoothly and without interruptions.

Is there a gap between the ceremony and reception?

Yes, there will be a break from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Guests are kindly asked to arrange their own transportation from Queen Elizabeth Park to Neptune Seafood Restaurant in Coquitlam.

Will there be a guestbook?

Will there be a bouquet toss at the reception?

Will there be assigned seating at the reception?

Yes, there will be assigned tables and seats for the reception. Our team will be there to help guide you to your seat when you arrive.
